As I get older and older, the Christmas season feels less and less festive. As to why that is, I am not entirely sure. It's probably because the time from december 1st to the 25th flies by. The rituals of Christmas leading up to the 25th is what I look most forward to; the time has passed when Christmas day was the only exciting thing about the season.
